Manchester United have unveiled their new away shirt for the 2024/25 season. The design features a navy blue base with circular patterns in a contrasting shade of blue, reminiscent of the styles worn by the team in the 1990s.
The shirt also honors the city of Manchester with three lighter blue stripes on the collar, representing the Irk, Medlock, and Irwell rivers. Silver detailing from adidas and the iconic Red Devil emblem on the back of the neck add to the shirt’s distinctive look.
The Snapdragon logo is prominently displayed as the new primary shirt sponsor, replacing TeamViewer.
Sam Handy, SVP of product and design at adidas, commented: “Each season, we aim to resonate with fans through special tributes to their club and culture. For this away kit, we’ve drawn inspiration from the city of Manchester itself. With design elements like the collar and nostalgic patterns, we celebrate both the city’s and club’s history, enhanced with modern details for impact on the streets, in the stands, and on the pitch.”
The new away shirt is available for purchase now at the official club store, select adidas retailers, and the adidas website.
