Leeds United transfer news and rumours
Following their lack of promotion, Crysencio Summerville—who took home the Championship’s Player of the Season award during the previous campaign—has been the subject of most media attention. The Dutchman, who has subsequently been linked to Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Liverpool, will probably have to make a significant choice this summer as Leeds tries to cling onto their valued player.
Unfortunately, as the Summerville rumors persist, Leeds has been connected to new players who are leaving. The Yorkshire club has reportedly been connected to players like Daniel Jebbison, a free agent, and Oliver Skipp, a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur. The Whites might perhaps add another free transfer to the latter, which would be a great deal.
After qualifying and getting promoted to the Premier League Leeds United is evidently making their first effort to sign a highly sought-after free agent for Daniel Farke and his team.
Graeme Bailey of HITC reports that Leeds has checked up on Ryan Sessegnon, who will be a free agent at the end of the month after his Spurs contract expires. In a fierce competition to recruit the full-back this summer, Leeds is supposedly up against West Ham United, Rangers, Fulham, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Real Betis, Monza, Como, and Atalanta.
