New Manchester United signing Leny Yoro has stated that he is “ready to die” for the badge, which will definitely please Red Devils fan base.
Manchester United outbid Real Madrid for the young French defender, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising players in the world of football. Leny Yoro made his unofficial United debut over the weekend, starting alongside 36-year-old veteran Jonny Evans, and might partner Lisandro Martinez in central defence when the Argentina international returns following his successful Copa America campaign.
He gained praise from boss Ten Hag for his exceptional first appearance for the club, and he now claims he is willing to lay everything on the line for United.
He said, “Manchester United is the world’s biggest club. It was my dream to play for this club! The fans here are amazing.
“I spoke to Ten Hag. He wants players who genuinely want to win. When he throws me on the pitch, I am willing to die for this team.”
Yoro has already expressed his desire to challenge himself in the difficult Premier League, noting that “the level is crazy” in England.
Last season, the teenager started 30 out of 32 Ligue 1 matches. He scored two goals and helped Lille finish fourth, giving them a chance to reach the Champions League group stage in the third qualifying round.
Yoro stated of his move to United: “For me, this is the biggest championship in the world,” “For me, the Premier League is where football truly exists. So the people, the level – because the level is insane there, there is no easy game – and, for me, the Premier League is the largest in the world.”
